Your CENTURY 21 Hart Realty agent is skilled in negotiation. We represent you, and our agents and brokers are going to do their best to successfully negotiate an offer that will work best for you. Your agent has been furnishing you with market updates, open houses updates, and getting feedback on any showings you have had. This sets the stage for you to review your offer with that information at hand. When you have signed the offer or negotiated with counter offers, there are still a number of steps to go through to have a successful closing.
Your agent will become your transaction manager, and your agent will guide you through the process required to have a successful closing. More than likely, your buyer will want a Home Inspection. Helping you work though that or negotiate repairs is a part of the service of our agents. Every transaction is different, and we will help you decide how to respond to repair requests. When that is out of the way, we're getting to the next stage.
There will be a title search, a property appraisal, and a myriad of details your agent can help you work through. If your buyer is getting financing, we can't be certain of the closing until there is a final loan approval and an appraisal that meets the agreed on price. Your agent will be with you each step of the way, and you should look forward to getting everything concluded in a timely manner. Just as an additional note, you will more than likely have your appointment with the escrow officer a day or two before the actual closing date. The funds will not be available to you until everything is wrapped up and recorded.
